- Gavilo Princip kills the crown prince of the
Austrian-Hungarian 28th of June 1914

investigate in Serb territory. The Serbs oppose. The
Austrian-Hungarians attack Serbia, and as they
were allies with Russia, the Russians declare war to
Austria-Hungary the 30th of July.
