If the pound is weaker, then its is more expensive for British Business' to purchase
things abroad because it costs more pounds to have the equivalent amount of the
other currency .
If the pound is stronger then it is cheaper for British Business' to
purchase foreign currencies and hence purchasing from abraod is
cheaper although it means that for people buying from the UK it is
more expensive for them as the pound is worth more.

Opening Balance is the same as the previous
months' closing balance
It allows a business to adjust and plan for times of either
finacial struggle or prospur and hence allows them to gage
