    1. Buy and use clothes that are made from sustainable, organic fibers.
      1. Limit their purchases of new clothing and re-use their old clothes for a bigger amount of time.
        1. Donating everything someone is not using can also have a bigger impact than one might imagine.
        2. What is Fast Fashion?
          1. Because of how fast retailers need to keep with demands for these styles, they often cut costs that increase their carbon footprint.
            1. "Fast fashion" is simply a term used by fashion retailers to describe clothes that are inspired by recent style trends.
            2. Enviromental Impact
              1. Cheap toxic textile dyes used to reduce the cost are the second largest polluter of clean water globally.
                1. It's fabrics harm the environment as well.
                  1. Polyester, one of the most popular fabrics, is derived from fossil fuels, contributing to global warming.
                    1. Even natural fabrics like cotton require enormous quantities of water and pesticides, which results to risks of drought.
                    2. Because of the speed at which garments are made, more and more clothes are disposed from consumers creating a huge amount of textile waste.
