      1. A descriptive thought that a person holds about something.
      2. Consumer buyer behavior
        1. Consumer buying behavior is the sum total of a consumer's attitudes, preferences, intentions, and decisions regarding the consumer's behavior in the marketplace when purchasing a product or service.
        2. Business buyer behavior
          1. : Business buyer behavior is the intent and behavior shown by companies and employees into making purchases for the organization.
          2. Consumer market
            1. A marketplace is a distinct group of potential customers that a company could target with its products and services.
            2. Culture
              1. Groups
                1. Two or more people who interact to accomplish individual or mutual goals.
                2. Learning
                  1. Changes in an individual`s behavior arising from experience.
                  2. Lifestyle
                    1. A person`s pattern of living as expressed in his or her activities, interests, and opinions.
                    2. Motive (drive)
                      1. A need that is sufficiently pressing to direct the person to seek satisfaction of the need.
                      2. New products
                        1. Businesses focus on designing new products and selling these products to customers.
                        2. New task
                          1. New task purchase is the one purchase decision that has not been done previously by the business, as they did not have the need for a new product / task.
                          2. Opinion leaders
                            1. Opinion leadership is leadership by an active media user who interprets the meaning of media messages or content for lower-end media users. Typically, the opinion leader is held in high esteem by those who accept their opinions.
                            2. Perception
                              1. Perception is the organization, identification, and interpretation of sensory information in order to represent and understand the presented information, or the environment.
