  1. Comparatives
    1. Comparate between two things or two persons
      1. One syllable adjective ending in a silent 'e'
        1. Example: large - larger
        2. One syllable adjective ending in one vowel and one consonant
          1. Example: big - bigger
          2. One syllable adjective ending in more than one consonant or more than a vowel (or long vowels)
            1. Example: the consonant is doubled and 'er' is added —bigger
            2. A two syllable adjective ending in 'y' — happy
              1. Example: 'y' becomes 'i' and 'er' is added — happier
              2. Tow syllable or more adjectives without 'y' at the end — exciting
                1. Example: more + the adjective + than — more exciting than
              3. Mary is taller than Jhon. The Nile river is longest that Thames river.
              4. Superlatives
                1. are used to show the difference between more than two things or more than two people. (Ex: Amazonas river is the longest in the world)
