SAB4#60 Leads & Lags
  1. LAG time is when you purposefully put a DELAY between the predecessor task and the successor
    1. Example: You need TO WAIT 3 days after pouring concrete to construct a frame from a house
      1. Activities Finish-to-Start
    2. LEAD time is when you give a successor task some time to getstarted BEFORE the predecessor finishes
      1. Example: "Team 2" can start reviewing the document "A" BEFORE "Team 1" has finished reviewing the document "X"
        1. Activities Start-to-Start
      2. The project management team determines the dependencies that may require a LEAD or a LAG to accurately define the logical relationship.
        1. The use of leads and lags should not replace schedule logic
          1. Activities and their related assumptions should be documented
            1. A lead or a lag CAN affect the project time duration
              1. Leads and Lags MUST be used SPECIALLY in crtical activities
