The Christmas started in the Victorian period, When Victoria was queen(1837-1901).
1. The russian and Serb Orthodox churches celebrate christmas on january 7th.
2. . The first Pagans chose December 25 because it was near the dates of two pagans festivities.
In Christmas the rich children received dolls,games,books,etc but the poor childrens received fruits or a small toy.
1. .In America and Great Britain the people send cards to friends.
The famous tradition of the Christmas tree comes from Germany, They decorated the tree with candles and biscuits.
1. Then families started put the Christmas tree in December with others Christmas decorations.
2. America’s most famous Christmas is the Rockerfeller Center.
3. The childrens and the adults open the present in the morning around the tree.
4. Every years in London put a tree in Trafalgar,it is a present for Norway,this tradition started in 1947.
When the carol singers sing if the people like They give money to the carol singers and the carol singers give the money to charity organizations.
In the Pantomimes the audience sing with the actors but when the actor is bad the audience says Boo!
People inside a small present or a joke in the mailbox.
On december 26 in the Christmas calendar people in America go to work but in Britain,Canada,New Zealand they don’t work
I liked Christmas because it is shared more with the family, because it is a vacation time and you can walk and for the decorations, music, food
