Indefinite Pronouns

Pronouns refer to specified nouns (people, places or things)
1. Example: I know your teacher, she was my tutor last year.
Indefinite pronouns refer to unspecified nouns (people, places or things)
1. Example: I hear that someone failed this exam.
Use: everybody, everyone, everything to talk about all of a group of nouns.
1. Example: Everybody on your class is so cool!
Use: nobody, no one, nothing to talk about noneof a group of nouns.
1. Example: No one thinks you're ugly.
Use: somebody, someone, something to talk about an unspecified noun.
1. Example: Someone stole my pencil.
Use: anybody, anyone, anything to emphasize that it's not important to specify.
1. Example: Anyone who tries to cheat during the exam will be grounded.
Use: anybody, anyone, anything in negative statements and in questions.
1. Example: I don't know anyone famous.
2. Example: Has anybody saw Michael?
Indefinite pronouns always take the singular form of a verb.
1. Example: Everything about this place is amazing.
