1. RED GIANT
   1. PLANETARY NEBULA
      1. Hot core will be exposed as white dwarf.
      2. WHITE DWARF
         1. WHITE DWARF COOLING
            1. BLACK DWARF
               1. The star stops glowing.
            2. *Star cools and turns red.

               Nota:

               • HOTTEST STARS = blue stars COLDEST STARS = red stars
   2. Stars of less mass expands and glows red as it cools.
2. Star shines as nuclear reactions inside produce light and heat.
3. SUPERGIANT
   1. Star of greater mass expands, cools, and turns red.
   2. SUPERNOVA
      1. Super giant explodes, blasting away outer layers.
      2. BLACK HOLE
         1. Core collapses completely and vanishes.
      3. NEUTRON STAR
         1. Core collapses and becomes very dense.
