Inventor of the first long-lasting lipstick; called it “No-Smear Lipstick”
1. Used bromo acid dyes for the lasting effect

    1. Also known as "Lasting Lipstick" when the FDA curtailed the unrestricted use of the term No-Smear Lipstick
She was also consultant to the National Association of Leather Glove Manufacturers and developed “Leather Lav,” a leather glove cleaner
1. She later founded H.B. Laboratories, Inc. to produce additional leather products
She also developed a foot care product and solid perfume stick (Perfemme)
