It explain 4 main methods that were importtant in the history thanks to their changes or how different were between each other
The grammar-translation method

-The goal of foreign language study is to learn a language in order to read it literature.

- Vocabulary selection was based solely on reading text used, and word were thought through bilingual word list, dictionary study and memorization.
- The sentence was the basic unit of teaching and language practice.
