1. Build strong partnership/network
- NGOs - UN-Habitat, Caritas, Theang Thnol...
- Government - Khan governors, local authorities and sharing UVI strategy with the municipal
- Cooperates / private companies
- (Leadership toward the round table/space discussion for all relevant partners - what to do together for children in the slums and on the streets)
2. Established Learning Hubs and staff deployment
- Being with the community/local partners - their home or meeting place, or renovating their home or meeting place or last office renting a place
- Key successes of FUVs: building capacity of the potential volunteers, they become the Community Workers (A dream for my village project)
- Characters of the Community Worker: Love High commitment Want changes in their living place Young people (youth). A dream for my village project
- Recruit and assign FUVs (Facilitator for Urban Visioning) to work in the Learning Hubs (To establish relationship and work with the Community Partners)
- Empower youths for evidence-based, real situation in their community (photo/video contest)
- GPS the location of the slums with basic info of each slum (Google Maps)
3. Mapping out all projects in Phnom Penh - a linkage to the Learning Hubs (citywide)
- Specific goal owner for the learning hubs; the hub is the coordination centre for the community; next is the full ownership of the Community Worker for the hub.
- Strengthen integration and make a greater impacts
4. Change management and high ownership in UVI team
- Review current practice of the meeting and venue (UVI meeting room, NO, church or local meeting hall, ministry or khan meeting places, then set up a common ptractice and policy
- Review and align direct line reports for sector projects
- Recruitment and new staff on-board
- 3-day learning event on Urban programming by CoE (likely in November)
6. Motto concerning with children's issues
- Youth and Child Protection, Youth and Nutrition, Church and Child Monitoring, Youth and Sanitation...
