        1. The Caciques and principals families had the politic and economic control.
        2. Jama-Coaque
          1. Is an old native comunity. (500 b.c.-1531a.c.) Was located from Esmeraldas to north of Manabì-
            1. In the goverment was religious leaders and was divided in headquaters.
              1. Had a very interesting ceramics, its forms were human,zoomorph, mix of human and animals.
                1. It is baroque and have many details which decorate it.
              2. Guangala
                1. Was in the period of Desarrollo Regional (300b.c.-800a.c)
                  1. They stood out about their textil because they used knitting to make a body of structures which molded and shaped.
                    1. Fishing and hunting were very important to its economy and survival.
                    2. Their ceramics have many similars things with Jamma, it also was antropomorphic and zoomorphic.
                      1. They produced globulares and simples housenhold pots and decorated it with red paint.
                    3. Napo
                      1. Was located in Napo, Amazon.
                        1. Their ceramic is about "Shamanes", and their pot was so important in their culture.
                          1. They harvested corn and yuca, also eggs of turtles and caimanes.
                            1. Hunted Jaguares.
                        2. Bahìa
                          1. Was located from Bahía de Caracas to Isla de la Plata- Coast
                            1. Their ceramics have the forms of "Shamanes" and their daily activities.
