    1. 1)Healthy Diet, 2) relaxation techniques, 3)Having a sense of humor, 4) healthy relationships, 5) seeking professional heelp when needed.
    2. Consequences:
      1. Regularily Passive
        1. NOT developing proper communication skills
          1. becoming vulnerable, and unable to speak for yourslef
          2. stress related diseases and disorders

            Nota:

            • Heart Disease Sleep Problems Digestive Problems Depression Memory Impairment 
          3. Stress

            Nota:

            • They bodys and minds response to demand.
            1. Assertivness

              Nota:

              • Benefits: Having a voice, being respected by others, beliveing your opinion matters- to say no or yes, being able to stand up for yourself as well as others. 
              1. Happy meduim between aggressive and passive
                1. Aggressive

                  Nota:

                  • Hostile and unfriendly in the way one expresses themselves
                  1. : Anger, Never wrong, Only one side, Too confident, No respect for others, No listening skills

                    Nota:

                    • Some Characteristics Probable Consequences: No freinds, Lack of proper socail/speaking/ communicating skills, can only see one side to a multi faseted situation/topic- or broad spectrum 
                  2. Passive

                    Nota:

                    • Not offering opposition when challenged or pressured. 
                    1. Lack of confidence, Worried too much about other peoples opinions, no skills of assertivness

                  3. ASSERTIVNESS HELPS IN STRESSFUL SITUATIONS
                    1. "I " Statements

                      Nota:

                      • These are beneficial in sticky situations becasue it covers, how you feel, why you feel it , and how the other person/people could change the negativity with that certain action. This also is an affective way of communicating and directly going to the source of the problem, instead of the person. It helps you say what you need to say in a (somewhat if not always) resptful manner. 
                      • It makes me feel confused, when you call people rude names right behind their backs, while you know they can hear. 
                    2. Emotions

                      Nota:

                      • The feeling that is produced in response to life experiences.
                      1. Emotional Intelligence

                        Nota:

                        • The ability to understand, use, and manage emotions. - like people skills IQ  Beneficial outcomes: Becoming more assertive, understanding how and when to say thimgs, being able to talk to everyone and communicate effectivly with clarity for everyone. 
                        1. Defense Mechanism

                          Nota:

                          • An unconcious behavior that is used to avoid experiencing unpleasant emotions
                          1. Eustress

                            Nota:

                            • A positive stress that energizes and helps a person
                            1. Distress

                              Nota:

                              • A NEGATIVE stress that makes a person sick, and stands in the way of reaching goals
                            2. Fight or Flight Response

                              Nota:

                              • A physiological reaction that occurs in response to a percieved harmful event, attack, or threat to survival.
                              1. Bullying

                                Nota:

                                • "intentionally aggressive and usually repeated verbal, social, or physical behavior, aimed at a specific person or group of people"
                                1. Reasons we THINK the bully bullies for

                                  Nota:

                                  • Race, Beliefs,Personal Opinion, They way they look/ are percieved,  Medical/ mental disabilities, image, sexual orientation, gener expression. 
                                  1. Things WE can do

                                    Nota:

                                    • Be there as a friend, Speak up, Tell adults or administration, accept the victim, and try to stand up for the victim
