    1. Balanced symbol equations tell us how many moles of substances involved in a chemical reaction
      1. We can use this to calculate the masses of reactants and products in a chemical reaction
    2. Reversible Reactions
      1. In a reversible reaction the products of the reaction can react to make the original reactants
        1. We can show a reversible reaction using this sign:
          1. An example of this is when you add acid to an alkaline to make it neutral
