History
1. Discovered By Two Cytogenticists Joe Hin Tjio and Albert levan
  1. Lund University in Sweden
  2. They descovered that the human body contains 46 chromosomes not 48 that had been the number they prevously had thought for the preceding 30 years
  3. Refered to in the 1960's and 1970's as the super male syndrome
2. Rare condition
Genetic Causes
1. happens during sperm production
2. The chromosome doesnt seperate during the cross over and it causes the extra Y chromosome
3. nondisjunction
Effects on the Human Body
1. They have a chance of having behavioral problems
2. Chance of learning difficulties
3. Some normal sex chromosomes and some sex chromosomes with and extra Y chromosome
4. May be thinner and taller than peers
5. Has little to no effect
6. Severe acne

1. No change in life expectancy
