    1. thoughts and feelings refer to mental processes that cannot be directly observed
      1. behaviour refers to any action that can be directly observed
        1. behaviour is a directly observable action eg: walking,talking,eating,playing,crying
          1. IT IS IRRELATED TO
            1. mental processes are indirectly observable ; private & internal .... eg: thinking,feeling,perceiving, remembering
