    Nota:

    • I put advances beside renaissance because during the renaissance arts, architecture, science, and medicine made really big advances thanks to several important people.
    1. Gutenburg

      Nota:

      • Gutenburg is under advances because he isn't quite under any large topic of advances but also made important contributions by creating the printing machine.
      1. Printing

        Nota:

        • Printing is under Gutenburg because Gutenburg created the printing press.
        1. Spread of Ideas

          Nota:

          • Because there was the printing press. The spread of ideas became easier, faster and much cheaper.
          1. Famous Printing Bible

            Nota:

            • The printing press was invented and so was the famous printing bible. The famous printing bible made the spread of the religion much easier and had religious stories of Jesus Christ, the savior of all.
        2. Arts

          Nota:

          • I put arts under advances because it was one of the major topics that developed.
          1. Non Religious Themes

            Nota:

            • Nonreligious Themes are under arts because during the Renaissance nonreligious art started to appear in different artworks.

              1. Donatello

                Nota:

                • Donatello is under sculpture because Donatello had contributions to sculpting. A famous sculpture by Donatello is Saint Mark.
              2. Painting
                1. Raphael

                  Nota:

                  • Raphael is connected to architecture and painting because he had contributions to painting and architecture. For example, Raphael's piece of architecture, Basilicia of Saint Andrea.
                  1. Architecture

                    Nota:

                    • I put architecture under advances because it was one of the major topics that developed.
                2. Literatures

                  Nota:

                  • Literatures is under nonreligious themes because literatures also had developments and are no longer only plays about religious scenes. 
                  1. Shakespheres

                    Nota:

                    • Shakesphere is under literature because he is one of the famous play writers that changed literature. He made plays that were about nonreligious themes and was able to sell big because he knows how human emotion and behaviors.
                3. Patrons

                  Nota:

                  • I put patrons under arts because arts needs funds and without the money people can't really create art.
                  1. Medici Family

                    Nota:

                    • Medici family is under patrons because they were a major patron and funded a lot of art projects.
                    1. Michaelangelo

                      Nota:

                      • Michaelangelo is under Medici family, because the Medici family sponsored Michaelangelo and let Michaelangelo expand and work on his art projects.
                      1. Sculpture

                        Nota:

                        • Sculpture is connected to Michaelangelo because Michaelangelo was really successful with his sculpture and a really famous sculpture made by him today is the statue of David.
                        1. Painting

                          Nota:

                          • Painting has connections to Nonreligious Themes, Michaelangelo, and Raphael because they were all important. During the Renaissance non religious themes started appearing in arts. While both Raphael and Michaelangelo had great contributions to painting.
                    2. Leonardo Da Vinci

                      Nota:

                      • Leonardo Da Vinci is a really smart and creative man. He is connected to arts, architecture, and science because he was able to contribute to all of those categories in a really influence way. All of his engineering projects are all ahead of the time and are still used today.

                        Nota:

                        • Florence, Italy is under arts because a lot of the art and artists were developed in Florence, Italy.
                      2. Architecture
                        1. Brunelleschi

                          Nota:

                          • Brunelleschi was put under architecture because he made major contributions to architecture by rediscovering the dome. 
                        2. Medicine

                          Nota:

                          • I put Medicine under advances because it was one of the major topics that developed.
                          1. Vesalius

                            Nota:

                            • Vesalius was put under medicine because he made major contribution to medicine and is known as the father or anatomy.
                          2. Science

                            Nota:

                            • I put science under advances because it was one of the major topics that developed.
                            1. Copernicus

                              Nota:

                              • Copernicus was put under science because he was able to do experiments and prove the heliocentric theory, which is the theory that the Earth and the other planets revolve around the sun rather than everything revolving around the Earth.
                              1. Galileo

                                Nota:

                                • Galileo is connected to both science and Copernicus because he had contributions to science but also took Copernicus's heliocentric theory, proved it further more and convinced everyone.

                              2. Rebirth of Classical ideas

                                Nota:

                                • The rebirth of classical ideas changed the renaissance a lot. The renaissance was able to develop because of the rediscovery of Ancient Greek and Rome and the birth of classical ideas.

                                  Nota:

                                  • The rebirth of classical ideas was influenced by the rediscovery of Ancient Greek and Rome
                                2. Change

                                  Nota:

                                  • There was a lot of change during the Renaissance. These topics existed but went through a lot of change because of the teachings of Petrarch
                                  1. Humanism

                                    Nota:

                                    • Humanism was the religion that went through a lot of change during the Renaissance.
                                    1. Petrarch

                                      Nota:

                                      • Petrarch was able to influence Humanism a lot by going against the church's teaching and preaching about a new style of humanism
                                      1. Perspective

                                        Nota:

                                        • I put perspective under Humanism because different perspective thinks different things and some might believe in different things. And while the church wanted people to believe certain things and only in what they teach. Petrarch didn't force people to believe in his beliefs but taught about how people should think independently and question the church's texts.
                                        1. Independent Thinking

                                          Nota:

                                          • Every perspective have their own independent thought and Petrarch preached about that.
                                          1. Power of the Church and Kings Challenged

                                            Nota:

                                            • Because people started to think for themselves the power of the church was challeneged. People stopped believing in what they teach and don't buy tickets out of purgatory which is pretty much hell. 
                                            1. Politics

                                              Nota:

                                              • Politics started to think about what Petrarch is thinking. Some support him but most don't because they could lose their position and wealth.
                                              1. Machiavelli

                                                Nota:

                                                • Machiavelli was one of the few politician that supported Petrarch. He translated the actual bible and exploited the church's doing and how they are decieving the faithful people.
