        4. WEAK OBLIGATION
          1. Present/Future

              Nota:

              • No difference in meaning
              1. You ought to/should write home more frequently
            2. Past
              1. Should have done/Ought to have done

                Nota:

                • For criticism or regret, because an action didn´t happen.
                1. We should have bought/ought to have bought your sister a car for her birthday
            3. ASKING FOR AND GIVING PERMISSION
