- Chapter 5; Mary, Watson,
Holmes and Thaddeus are
going to his twin to split the
treasure between Mary and
the Sholtos but when they get
there they find Bartholomew
dead.
- Chapter 6; Holmes investigates
Bartholomew's death (finds a
wooden-leg tip), than he tells
Bartholomew to report the death
to the police. He isn't reporting it
at first as he is scared he could
get arrested.Thaddeus then, gets
arrested. Holmes tells Watson to
bring Toby and get Mary home
- Chapter 5; Mary, Watson,
Holmes and Thaddeus are

the Sholtos but when they get

occurred he was forced to flee for his
life to the Agra Fortress. While standing
guard, one night he was overpowered
by two Sikh troopers who gave him
choice of being killed or an accomplice
to a murder and robbery. Small got
penal servitude on the Andaman
Islands. He meets John Sholto and
Arthur Morstan and lets them to get the
treasure so he can recover it later.

to rent and discover that a
wooden-legged man rent a
boat. Then Holmes does a
research about the
Andaman Islanders (place
where Morstan and Sholto
were)
- In a police steam launch Holmes
and Watson chase the Aurora
and capture it but they end up
killing Small's companion after he
attempts to kill Holmes with a
poisoned dart. Small tries to
escape but gets captured. Then
they open the treasure box
which is empty as Small dumped
it over the side.
- Chapter 7; Watson gets
Mary home then he gets
Toby. Toby takes the

leads Holmes and Watson
on a way which proves to
be wrong.
