States of Matter
1. there are 3 different states

3. Solid particles are close together vibrating on the spot
4. Gas particles are spread out and have a high mount of energy
5. Liquids are free to move to fill spaces and have more energy than solids as they move over each other

3. due to conduction heat and travel from one end of a solid to another
