New Converts: Family Members, slaves, Different tribes,
Revelation: Sanctifying the soul. Sovereignty of Allah, Hell & Paradise,
Purpose of a Human life, salat was established
Quraishites: took no heed, just a religious philosophist, began to
watch Muhammad's (s.a.w) movements closely & anxiously
3 underground of activism: Agroup of 42 people emerged stamped
by a spirit of fraternity & cooperation with 1 objective in mind:
"propagating & deeply establishing the call unto Islam"
The Second Phase: Open Preaching
(4-10)
وأنذر عشيرتك الأقربين
Settled his first preach: closest kinspeople: they assured him to defend & help
him
Second preach: on mount as-safa
Concept of Idolatry: That on which the affections are strongly (often excessively) set;
an object of passionate devotion; a person or thing greatly loved or adored. -stones,
concepts, ideologies, power etc
Reaction of Quraishites: Makkans burst into outrage &
disapproved -Muhammad's (s.a.w) words were like a thunderbolt
that turned the Makkan ideological life upside down.
Why? 1. Makkan knew that denying godship to anyone except Allah, belief in a divine message & the hereafter are interpreted in terms of complete compliance & absolute commitment & this in turn leaves
no area at all for them to claim authority over themselves & over their wealth, let alone their subordinates. 2. arrogated religiously-based supremacy & highhandedness would no longer be in effect. 3. they
would have to abstain from incurring injustices on those whom they falsely deemed to be weak 4. they would have to abstain from perpetrating dreadful sins in their everyday life
Started to settle down the affair. 1.A delegation of Makkan leaders met abi taalib three times during 4-6 years period 1. asked abi taalib to stop his nephew from preaching this ideology, abu talib politely replied them. 2. threatened him to stop Muhammad (s.a.w) other vice
they will afflict him with hostility 3. Proposed Ammarah bin waleed to abi talib to take him as his son & give them Muhammad (s.a.w), he refused 2. Quraish's Representatives Negotiates with Messenger of Allah: to contract a bargain i.e to keep silent & no longer proclaim new
faith. - proposed leadership of Makkah & wealth to him & he refused
Prophet's reaction: 1. steadfast & determined 2. did not accepted any give & take proposal 3. Accepted Migration to (Abyssinia) Ethiopia
General Social Boycott: A PACT OF iNJUSTICE & aggression lasted for 3 years (7th-10th)
The final phase of the Diplomacy of Negotiation: proposed a policy of mutual concessions & peaceful coexistance
The Year of Grief

of the Hereafter 5. The Quran 6. Glad tidings

Mere Lip Profession of Faith is not enough. It must be tried & tested in the real turmoil of life

painstaking psychological war &
aggressive organized propaganda but
they remained determined, steadfast,
patient 2. Seed of Islamic Civilization

Prophet Muhammad S.A.A.W &
Strengthened or developed & became a
strong group of brave people having
same ideology & objectives.
