    1. Hydraulic Action
      1. The sheer force of the water wears away the bed and banks of the river.
      2. Corrosion
        1. The slightly acidic water dissolves rocks made from calcium carbonate.
        2. Corrasion
          1. Stones carried by the river are washed into the bed and banks of the river, therefore wearing them down.

            1. Stone carried by the river collide together, gradually getting smaller and rounder.
