1. Most have 3G/4G built in
  1. Others can use dongle in USB port or Wi-Fi
    1. Hotspot can be created by mobile/satellite phone or LAN
      1. X- Can slow down both devices
      2. X- If unprotected, others can use Wi-Fi and use up phone data.
2. Device can communicate using applications e.g. www, email
