1. 1. Goals (social significance)
  1. Are the specific bx goals really what society wants?
    1. Example: teaching-parent interactions
      1. polled boys prior to intervention: What interactions do you like?
2. 2. Procedures: Do the ends justify the means?
  1. Ethical? Cost? Practicality?
  2. Acceptibility of direct consumers might be related to effectiveness
    1. Wolf: boys who had rated acceptability of parenting style had fewer interactions in the program
3. 3. Effects (social importance)
  1. Are the consumers satisfied with the intended results?
    1. Are the consumers satisfied with the unplanned outcomes?
  2. Assessed at the conclusion of the intervention
