      1. There are 2 components in this circuit
        1. A switch and a resistor
          1. Each with 2 terminals (lines coming off them)
            1. One terminal of the switch is connected to the 5V supply rail
              1. One terminal of the resistor is connected to the 0V supply rail
                1. The output terminal comes from the connection between the switch and the resistor
