        1. king louis and marie antoinette spent too munch money
          1. the people thought the king had to much power
            1. they didn't like the queen because she was austrian
              1. people thought that the queen was unfaithful to the king
                1. anger between the 3 estates
                  1. pesants had to pay a toll on certian goods
                  2. the storming of the bastile.
                    1. on the 14th of july 1789 revoloutionionarys stormed the Bastile.
                      1. the bastile is a prison in paris and it used to be a fortress
                        1. they stormed it for gun powder but they also freed the prisoners.
