Factors that Affect "Rate of Dissolving" (Salvation) -

~Temperature - Molecules move more rapidly

~Agitation - to stir or shake, molecules move more rapidly, dissolving rate increases

~Surface Area - more solute in contact with solute

Factors that Affect "solubility" -

~Nature of solvent/solute is the polarity

~Temperature

~Pressure is for gases only
