he retains the reverser key, or one of the interlock keys, in his possession for the full period the high-voltage compartment door is open.
before entering any high-voltage or auxiliary high-voltage compartment, the pantographs of all the motor coaches are visibly checked to be in the housed position, the auxiliary machines have stopped running and that the vehicle is stationary.
