It is a wind which is violent & destructive

It is a cold breeze

It means to scatter or to disperse

It refers to those winds who scatter the clouds, to cause rain

It means to accumulate or to gather

It means to separate, to distribute, to distinguish or to divide

It refers to the wind that move clouds

Clouds are moved to a particular land & hence it rains

It refers to the wind which comes as a reminder

The reminder can be pleasant or a disaster

The reminder can be in the form of a pleasant rain, which is a blessing of Allah (swt) or a violent rain, which is a punishment of Allah (swt)

udh’ran aw nud’ran [عُذْراً أَوْ نُذْراً] meaning to provide excuses or to give warnings

For a believer the zikra comes as a warning, he fears Allah & constantly seeks forgiveness

For a disbeliever the zikra does not come as a warning rather he makes excuses & justifies for the wrong he does

The twinkling stars will lose their light

The sky will split open

The mountains will be crushed & blown away as dust

The Messengers will be assembled who will then gather their communities so that all matters concerning them may be decided

To show the importance of the incidence

To divide or to separate on the special day

People who are together as family, friends or co-workers will be separated on that Day

Wayl means destruction

Wayl is the warning for those who deny

Wayl is the valley in Hell fire whose depth is 40 years of falling

Wayl is the valley where the pus & discharge of the wound is collected

Allah (swt) asks the deniers of the Day of Resurrection if He did not destroy the earlier people like the people of Ad, Thamud, Lut and Musa. Then how come they are denying destruction?

If He destroyed those who came before them He can and will destroy the followers

This is the punishment for anyone who comes after them and rejects the message that the Messengers were sent with

Mankind is reminded of a time when it was weak & disgust & Allah (swt) placed it in a safe place, the mother’s womb. It stays there and is nourished for a determined time

Some babies are born pre-mature while there are others whose birth is overdue

Only Allah (swt) knows when is the right time for the baby to enter this world

Earth has been called a container because it contains everything that mankind will need

Our abode, our food and our living is on the earth. Earth is created by Allah (swt) such that humans when alive live on its surface and when they are dead, they are buried in it

The earth has been made firm by placing tall mountains on it. Had the mountains not been there the earth would have been swaying and it would have been difficult to live on it

Had sweet water not been there, human life would have been impossible to sustain

They will be commanded to depart to a flame of fire rising and ascending with thick dense smoke which will have three columns

Though this is the shadow of fire it will neither offer them any shade nor protect them from the heat of the flame

The huge sparks of fire will break into splinters as if they were yellowish camels running and jumping

Disbelievers will not be allowed to speak on the Judgement Day

Their limbs & skin will speak against them

Their mouths will be sealed

They will not be able to give any excuse

In the world you used every kind of deception and trick in self-interest

Now, if you have any trick to escape My punishment, you may use it to defeat Me and My plan

But you are certainly not able to do so

Believers will be presented with different varieties of fruits and asked to eat their fill

Believers will be in gardens & springs on the Day of Judgement

Believers will enjoy because of the good deeds they did in the life before

They may eat and drink and enjoy themselves in this world

But the span is short and then there will be nothing but punishment for them

Then they will be driven to the fire of Hell

When they are called to prayer they refused to pray

When they were told to submit to the commands, they refused to comply unlike the Muttaqoon

When they are called to prayer they accepted to pray

Qur’an is the Word of Allah (swt) and if a person does not believe in it then he cannot believe in anything else

Qur’an is the last Book of Allah (swt) explaining its message and wisdom most eloquently and its arguments are most convincing

If they do not believe in such a Book, then for which word are they waiting?

Yantiqoon [يَنطِقُونَ] - ن، ط، ق

Nuh’liki [نُهْلِكِ] - ه، ل،ك

Nut’bi’uhumu [نُتْبِعُهُمُ] - ت، ب، ع

َّفَوَاكِهَ ---------- Mountains

جِبَالُ ---------- Fruits

جِمٰلَتٌ ---------- Camels

قَرَارٍ ---------- Place of lodging
