Allah gives them a special invitation to accept the Quran and Prophet Muhammad( pbuh )

The Bani Israel also known as People of the Book were given the knowledge of Deen but they misused the opportunity, thus Allah wants to show us the consequences of deviations

Allah mentions the Bani Israel for us to take lesson from their mistakes

Zikr is to express gratitude for the Blessings

Acknowledge in ones Heart, Speech and Limbs

To increase in Ibadah

They did not want to let go the religious supremacy they were enjoying in Madinah

Prophet Muhammad( pbuh) belonged to the Bani Ismail and not Bani Issac lineage

Since they were the learned of their time, now to believe in someone who was unlettered, would bring them low in status

They conceal the verses in which the name of Prophet Muhammad( pbuh ) would be mentioned in the Taurah

They would even tear the page in which his name would be mentioned

When the Arabs asked them about Prophet Muhammad( pbuh ) , they would confuse them

To pray Salah

To establish, to stand straight, firm in Salah

To establish Salah, to be firmly grounded like a tree who is able to survive the storm

Allah is Most Forgiving, He will eventually forgive us

Seek Help in Allah with Sabr and Salah

Make Dua and also make an intention of following the Commands

At times of ease never built that relationship with Allah

No Khushu in Salah, so never enjoyed praying

At times of hardship, always felt the need of people rather then Allah

Fear Allah

Be certain of the Day, we will all return to Him

Salah, meet your Rabb several times , day and night

He was a tyrant king of Egypt, who had enslaved the Bani Israel

His aim was to wipe off the Bani Israel completely

He would inflict hard labour on the men, slaughter their new born male child and use their woman as domestic help

Test come as a consequences of our own wrong deeds

A wake up call , when we have disobeyed, so that we can repent and seek forgiveness

To elevate the status of the people , to make them stronger, through dua and more Ibadah they get closer to Allah
