This command was included in the covenant that Allah made with the Banu Israeel
You should not worship except Allah.
And with the two parents, do utmost good.
Do good to your close relations
We don't have to do good to our parents if they didn't treat us well when we were young
Who is an orphan?
The child who hasn’t reached the age of puberty and his father has passed away.
Anyone whose mother passed away
Anyone whose father passed away
Denying one part of the deen is equivalent to denying the entire deen.
What is the punishment for the one who follows some commands in the deen and leaves the others?
Humiliation in the dunya
No punishment

What did the Banu Israeel mean when they said "Our hearts are wrapped."
They couldn't understand Arabic language
They meant that their hearts were full of knowledge and sealed

How did Allah refute the statement of the Banu Israeel "We believe [only] in what was revealed to us." ?
He allowed them to only believe in the Tawrah
He told them to believe in Prophet Muhammad too.
He asked them "Then why did you kill the prophets of Allah before, if you are [indeed] believers?"
Allah called the Qur'an Fadhl (bounty). What should we do with this bounty?
Be grateful with the blessing of the Quran, read it, study it, implement it
Keep them on top of our book shelves
Give them as gifts on our weddings
How can we do ihsaan to our parents?
Help them financially
Talk to them kIndly
Obey them even if they call us to disobedience of Allah
