Transition to an equitable, carbon free, zero growth economy should be the central concern of education at all levels. Mind mapping is the pedagogy for understanding the interdisciplinary and cross sectorial dimensions of this process. Cultural ecology denotes the practices and behaviors that have coevolved in the relations between humans and their nonhuman worlds, International Classrooms Online (ICOL), is exploring its three pillars; namely zoology, ecology and culture.
