"Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" is a book written by Roald Dahl. The story takes in a city with no name. The main characters are Charlie Bucket and Willy Wonka.
Charlie is an 11-year-old boy from a poor family. He lives in a very small house with his parents and four grandparents. Charlie loves chocolate, but they have very money in the family, and can buy some chocolate only once a year for Charlie's birthday. Willy Wonka is the owner (владелец) of the chocolate factory that makes everybody's favourite chocolate and other sweets.
The chocolate factory is the most place in the city: nobody has ever been inside it. Willy Wonka is getting old. He hasn't got children. He wants to find a good boy or girl to entrust (доверить) the secrets of his chocolate. Which will become the chocolate factory owner? Read the book to find out!
