( Chloroplasts, Mitochondria, Nuclei, Ribosomes ) are ( double, single, triple, non ) membrane-bound organelles that are found only in plant cells and some ( protoctists, fungi, animals, viruses ). They are responsible for ( photosynthesis, cell replication, respiration, hydrolysis ), a process which turns ( carbon dioxide, oxygen, sugar, lipids ) and ( water, hydrogen peroxide, cholesterol ) into ( glucose, magnesium, glycogen, water ) in the presence of sunlight. They give leaves their green colour. Within the chloroplast are ( thylakoids, cisternae, ribosomes ), which are also membrane-bound, and stack together to form ( grana, granae, grania, granums ) (single granum). The space surrounding the grana is called the ( stroma, cytoplasm, lumen ). ( Starch grains, Proteins, Amino acids, Lysosomes ) are also found in chloroplasts as they are the resulting product of photosynthesis.
