Question Answer
Vivo en Málaga con unos amigos desde septiembre I live in Malaga with some friends since September
A preposition generally, but not always, goes before its noun or pronoun. However, the preposition sometimes links the verb with its object. In this case the verb goes before the preposition and the meaning can change to look = mirar
Mírame Look at me
Cuídame Look after me
If the verb goes after the preposition we have to add –ING, that’s the gerund form theory
Por favor, recógeme antes de ir a la playa Please, pick me up before going to the beach
Generally, prepositions go before the noun that they go with bakery = panadería
La panadería está detrás de la escuela The bakery is behind the school
But there are exceptions where the preposition goes at the end of the sentence With the relative pronoun, when it is followed by a preposition, this can go at the end of the sentence
La chica con la que estaba viviendo The girl I was living with // The girl with whom I was living
With interrogative sentences that start with an interrogative pronoun laptop = portátil
¿Para quién es este ordenador portátil? Who is this laptop for? // For whom is this laptop?
Prepositions that go with the relative ‘that’ annoys me = me molesta
El tema del que estáis hablando me molesta The topic that you are talking about annoys me
