Practice to master the automatic recall of the basic multiplication fact families that involve the number 2 with other single digit factors from 1 to 9. Family can be presented in any form such as 2 x 7 = ___ , ___ x 2 = 14, ___ x 7 = 14 or 7 x 2 = ___ so the learner can immediately respond with the missing family member, directly from long term memory.
