The Secretariat | Protocolled everything that happened in the General Assembly and Council |
The International Labour Organisation (ILO) | An independent organisation that improved working conditions for men, women and children |
The Health Organisation | An independent organisation that attempted to get rid of diseases such as leprosy |
The Permanent Court of International Justice | Settled legal disputes between nations that consisted of 15 judges of different nationalities |

Why wasn't moral persuasion effective? | No consequences were allowed to be taken if a country didn't follow the moral persuasion |
Why weren't economic sanctions effective? | Important trading countries like the USSR, USA, Germany and Japan ended up not being in the League |
Why weren't military forces effective? | As the League didn't have its own army it was obliged to rely on other countries lending them armies |
