What is the effort and what is the load? The effort is the force being applied to the lever. The load is the thing you are trying to move
What is it called when the effort moves further than the load? A force multiplier
What is it called when the load moves further than the effort? A distance multiplier
What do gears do? They transmit moments
What happens when you use a small gear to turn a large gear? The moment is increased on the large gear, but the speed of the large gear decreases
