Armada The name given to a large fleet of ships.
Plot A plan made in secret to harm someone or disrupt something.
Protestant People who followed christianity but were against/opposed to Catholicism.
Catholic Someone who follows the Catholic (or Roman Catholic) church and way of life.
Empire A collection of countries owned by a single person/country.
Rebellion Refusing to follow a certain group and thus fight against them.
Execute To kill someone (normally because of a crime they have committed).
Parliament A group of people who meet in the house of commons in London and discuss political concerns and pass laws.
