Why do some countries have High GNI (Gross National Income,) and Lower Death Rates? | Because a higher GNI means that more money is available to be spent upon developing healthcare facilities. This leads to treatment which can prevent deaths. |
Why can Development Indicators be misleading? | They are averages; the GNI of a country may be high - yet there could still be a high number of poor people as well. |
