What does digoxin do? How? | Increases the force of cardiac contractions. It inhibits the Na-K pump in the plasma membrane of the muscle cells. As a result Na ions collect in the cell, along with Ca ions to increase the force of contractions |
What does propranol do? How? | Reduces the persons' heart rate. It reduces the effects of noradrealin on the SAN |
What are the possible side effects of propranol? | Angina |
