It was a world-wide agreement to achieve what? It was to achieve peace.
Why was it a long-lasting agreement? Because most of the boundaries are still here today.
It was a genuine attempt to do what? It was an attempt to achieve a better world.
Why do people think it was unpopular? Because even the people who signed it didn't like it.
Who wanted the Treaty to be harsher on Germany? The French.
Who complained about how the Treaty never gave them a fair reward for their part? Japan and Italy.
Who thought the Treaty was too harsh on Germany? USA. They didn't like it that much they rejected it and didn't sign it.
Who also believed the Treaty was too harsh? Britain - They though the reparations would damage world trade and Lloyd George believed it would cause another war.
