Question | Answer |
My Funny Valentine Website To begin with I was clueless on how to portray an up and coming Jazz artist untill I had looked at some small artists I who had developed websites to promote their Jazz careers. An example would be the Ben Cox band's web page I have known Ben through working with the Essex youth jazz orchestra. Through these sites I noticed a large emphasis on how they got started, who performs with them, performance venues and album details.
The pictures on the other side of this flash card displays my websites design process at the beginning of my website, At the time I was undecided upon the background of my website so I used a generic backdrop. I was in the process of implementing information including a track list of the album as well as performance venue locations and merchandise details.
I have Progressed further with own website drawing it closer to my final vision. The main menu (front page) of my website follows conventions of most modern artists by placing there music video right in the middle of the page. I have also included some details about the video itself along the side. as the page is a work in progress there will be significant changes in the final design mainly in the background as I will be implementing my digi-packs front cover as a background.
Like most music websites, their is always background information written about the artist and how they had entered the industry, I had written small amounts of information on various aspects of her past ranging from what influenced her taste of music to who supported her into becoming a proffestional artist.
When looking a numerous artists pages I noticed an emphasis on the artists music which I have done for my page. As well a track list I have implemented the cost of my album and details about the the bands members.
This is the basic layout of products that will be on my shop page. I'am looking at new images that relate to the digi-pack including the CD front page and a customized T-shirt.
This is the ticket page for my website, I took the tour dates from the Official Michael Buble website. This at the moment is temporary and I will be adding in more realistic venues later on. |
