Machine learning The technique of programming computers so they can learn from data
Supervised learning Training data includes the desired solutions/labels (e.g. decision trees)
Unsupervised learning The training data does not contain labels (e.g. clustering algoritms)
Semisupervised learning This technique can work with a body of training data, of which a small amount is labelled
Reinforcement learning The algorithm must learn the best strategy to get the most reward over time
