Define Aeration?	Process of removing small plugs of soil, allowing air and water to get into the soil and reducing soil compaction. `
Define Climate Change?	Long term changes in the climate of an area (temperature, precipitation, etc.)
Define Deforestation?	The process of logging and clearing forests, without replanting them.
Define Primary succession?	Is area where there is soil.
Define Secondary Secession?	Is disturbed areas where there is soil.
Define Extinction?	The complete loss of a species of organisms.
Define Foreign species?	Organisms that have been introduced to an ecosystem by humans.
Define Greenhouse gases?	Gases that absorb heat and radiate back into the atmosphere.
Define Native Species?	Organisms that naturally occur in an ecosystem.
Define Natural Selection?	Successful members of a species will survive and reproducers, creating change in population over time.
Define ozone layer?	An atmospheric layer coating ozone (O3) molecules which absorb much of U.V light from the sun.
Define pioneer species?	Organisms that begin primary succession in ecosystem.
Define proliferation?	An increase in the numbers of individuals with a new adaptive trait, as a result of natural selection.
Define Stability?	Constant dilate conditions in ecosystems.
