What is a CPU Core? Contains a number of microprocessors
What is Cache? Cache is a type of computer memory which can be accessed much faster than RAM. The CPU looks in the cache for the data it needs, retrieves it and processes.
What types of Cache are there? A level 1 (L1) cache is a memory bank built into the CPU chip. A level 2 cache (L2) is a secondary staging area that feeds the L1 cache.
What is clock speed? The operating speed of a CPU, in cycles per second (megahertz).
The speed of the clock determines what? The basic performance of the CPU- faster it goes the more powerful the computer.
