Non Combustible Substances | Substances that do not undergo combustion in presence of air are called non combustible substances. They do not readily burn. eg: Sand, steel, Rock, Glass |
Ignition Temperature | The lowest temperature at which a substance catches fire is called ignition temperature. |
Inflammable Substances | The substances which have very low ignition temperature and can easily catch fire with a flame are called inflammable substances. eg: petrol, alcohol, Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG)etc. |
