Sweating | It cools us down and keeps our body temperature constant. Sweat is released from sweat glands on our skin and exists as a liquid. When this sweat heats up, either from our body temperature or from the sun, it evaporates, changing from a liquid to gas. Heat energy is added. This removal of heat energy from our bodies helps to cool us down |
Wine cooler | The wine cooler is wet and therefore is covered in liquid water. The wine bottle is warm Heat energy from the wine heats up the water on the surface of the cooler and it evaporates The liquid water gains energy while the wine loses energy and it cools. |
