gender role socialisation (GRS) FAMILY IS THE PRIMARY AGENT OF GRS Canilisation- GRS is reinforces through the toys children play with and the activities children are taught to do. -Dunscome and Mardan. GRS EDUCATION IS THE SECONDARY AGENT children are filtered to certain subjects in order to reinforce their gender roles. girls are channeled towards jobs that will get them a lower pay as they are seen to becoming a mother.
